Meanwood Valley Urban Farm relies on your donations to provide placements and training to vulnerable adults and schoolchildren, to provide feed and shelter for our animals, and to maintain and grow our beautiful site for the enjoyment and education of the local community.
We are currently fundraising for urgent repairs to our Epicentre, which has unfortunately been closed for over a month now.
The building normally houses our HOOF (Helping On Our Farm) team—an outdoor social care project supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism—but they have had to move to a smaller building, disrupting their routines. The building also hosts educational visits from local schools, many of which have now been postponed or cancelled, and it serves as the centre for room bookings, visitor admissions, the front desk, and the gift shop, all of which provide essential income for the farm. Reopening the Epicentre as soon as possible is vital, and every donation, large or small, will help make this possible.
