Win a free lunch for the family at the farm cafe!
This autumn, you can be in a chance of winning a free lunch at our fantastic cafe, The Barn. We are asking visitors to post about their visit on social media, tagging the farm and using the hashtag #VisitMeanwoodFarm.
Why are we running the prize draw?
We want to increase the number of people who benefit from visiting the farm. By sharing your experience on social media, our hope is that you will inspire others to visit too.
How to take part
- Simply post on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook with (1) a photo or video and (2) a caption. In the caption, feel free to write something about your visit or what you like about visiting the farm.
- Tag us in the caption – That’s @MeanwoodFarm on Instagram and Twitter. On Facebook tagging is a bit different; you have to type @ and then type in “Meanwood Valley Urban Farm” and select the farm’s page which should come up
- Use the hashtag #VisitMeanwoodFarm – this is how we will know that your post counts as an entry into the prize draw.
We will endeavour to “like” each post as a recognition of it within a week of posting. If that doesn’t happen, please email a screenshot of the post to l.cockburn@mvuf.org.uk to make sure we’ve seen it.
Some clarifications
- You may post on more than one platform, and each post will count as an entry.
- If you post more than once on the same platform, this does not count as more than one entry. Please only post once on each platform.
The Prize
We will buy lunch and a drink for up to 4 people at the farm cafe, The Barn.
How we will draw the winner
We will collect all of the entries and randomly select a winner on Monday 21st November.
We will contact the winner on the social media platform they used to enter. If we don’t hear back within 48 hours, we will select a new winner.
Once we’ve heard back from a winner, we will announce it on at least one of our social media accounts.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that you follow/like us on the social media platforms that you have used. Otherwise we may not be able to contact you to let you know that you’ve won!
