Meanwood Valley Urban Farm Sculpture Garden

Work has begun on one of three new centrepieces on the Farm, in a new project supported by funding from Leeds Inspired and Wade’s Charity.

To celebrate 40 years of Meanwood Farm promoting environmental awareness, Yorkshire Carver Shane Green will be running public workshops and carving three sculptures with the theme of ‘Sustainability, Environment and Change’.

After the unexpected global events – and the Farm’s near closure – in 2020, Meanwood Valley Urban Farm is excited to host a local artist for a project which celebrates our environmental work whilst bringing art into the community for the public to enjoy.

Dates of the public workshops: TBC

Close Hencounters

Help us crowdfund for a new hen house.

For full details and to donate please visit www.chuffed.org/projects/close-hencounters

We have the plans and the permission, we just need the funds. We need to raise £24,000, but we hope to reach £27,000!

This is where you can help, as every kind donation will take us a step closer to rebuilding and creating more ‘close hencounters’.

Every penny counts, so we’ll send you regular updates on our progress when you donate.

You can also keep an eye on the campaign page as we fill up our egg box with golden eggs. Each egg represents £2,000 of kind donations.

Some eggcellent perks are up for grabs, ranging from a box of eggs to farm experiences.

Co-op Fundraising

We are nearing the end of our promotional fundraising with Co-op. We have until the 6th April to raise funds through members purchasing selected Co-op own brand products from store.

Please help us by choosing us as your local charity.

Here’s the video Co-op created to promote the Farm at Christmas.
